Exchanging Views - Joint Exhibition in Kunst-Werkstatt, Munich
Dear friends & Art Lovers,
I would like to invite you to our joint exhibition "Exchanging Views" in the Kunst-Werkstatt in Munich.
- Exchanging Views - Manuela Xavier & Newsha Djavadipour-Sigari
- Vernissage: Thursday June 28th, 2018 19:00 - 22:00h
- Steinstr. 59, Munich (get directions)

Manuela Xavier and Newsha Djavadipour-Sigari (www.newshadjavadipour.de) see themselves as painters expressing their themes through abstract expressionism. For both depth and the element light is of great importance. Manuela Xavier is a native Portugese from Lisbon. Her paintings are minimalist, mostly monochrome with a lot of texture, which gives the pictures a lot of depth - unlike Newsha, a native Iranian from Tehran, who represents the depth in her art works through multiple layers of color and strong color contrasts. The exhibition "Exchanging Views" shows the works of the two artists in a dialogue.
We are very happy to welcome Dr. Daniel Kaboth as the laudatory. The evening will be accompanied by songs by Iranian guitarist and vocalist Arash Sasan.
We are looking forward to your visit.

I would like to share some nice impressions from my 2016 exhibition in the Bikini in Berlin:

In an multidisciplinary fine arts group show the work of Manuela Xavier can now be seen in the Artmuseum Humboldt in Hettstedt, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The museum sees itself as a cross-genre laboratory for new ways of thinking in the world of the fine arts. The nationally significant art venue is devoted toprogrammatic semiannual exhibitions pinpointing the burning issues of our time. The artist Werkbund 1791 sees itself as a space of thought in the tradition of Wilhelm von Humboldt and the Saxony-Anhalt movement of Bauhaus.
